Anne Earnshaw

Anne Earnshaw is fascinated by the extraordinary in the landscape and her photographic interest began with a passion for her natural surroundings.  Her work explores the detail that people often miss when they are in a natural environment and captures sublime and ephemeral moments through the lens, aiming to give the viewer a feeling of peace and tranquillity. Many of her images have the qualities of paintings, which reflect her background as a painter.

When concentrating more closely on her subject by observing detail and being spontaneous, Anne avoids being distracted by the technical process. What interests her is capturing the fleeting image not the  changing of it. Her photographs are totally natural and no digital manipulation or processing is used.
